Iran - CRA Type Approval - Overview

The Communication Regulatory Authority (CRA) is Iran's national regulatory body responsible for the oversight, evaluation, and approval of radio and telecommunication equipment prior to commercial use, importation, or production within the country.

CRA Iran has developed its own technical standards for equipment approvals review based on EU.  We provide the legally required local representation service to Manufacturers, importers, or distributors to navigate the approval process, required by CRA

All device samples also have to go through mandatory in-country testing at a CRA-accredited laboratory, adhering to the necessary standards, which we handle as part of the process.

With a three year validity, the complete CRA approval process from samples handling, testing, documents preparation, submission and evaluation by CRA can be comfortably completed in around eight weeks.
