Bahrain’s TRA Enables Next-Generation Wi-Fi 7 Technology : Bahrain TRA Type Approval
The TRA Bahrain has released an updated technical specification, allowing the use of Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) becoming the first country in the region to do so. Key highlights include:
Speed Boost: Wi-Fi 7 supports multi-gigabit speeds, reaching up to 30 Gbps.
Efficiency: Advanced techniques like MU-MIMO and OFDMA enhance bandwidth allocation.
Backward Compatibility: Wi-Fi 7 seamlessly connects with existing networks.
Bahrain’s Vision: Adoption of Wi-Fi 7 enhances digital infrastructure and connectivity.

The move will equally help the consumers to reap benefits of the advanced speeds and benefits of Wi-Fi 7 and the manufacturers to enhance market penetration through launching relevant supportive equipment and upgrading the existing ones in the same regard.
