The Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia (TRC) has announced a new requirement for all Type Approval (TA) applications. From now-onward companies applying for TA certificates must include a declaration specifying the importer of the products in question.

According to TRC, this measure ensures transparency and regulatory compliance, as the requesting company itself does not import the products requiring certification. If the company or its client is unable to declare the importer, the TA certificate will not be issued.

Applicants must submit importer details via email to info@trc.gov.kh to meet this new requirement.
